This is My Superman!! Rey doesn't know that I am writing this post about him, because if he did...he wouldn't want me to do it and he would probably feel embarrassed. Like I have said before, I use this post as a journal for our family so I want to record some of the feelings I have been having over the last couple of days. As most of you know Rey and I were in a car accident on Sat. and we were very blessed that neither one of us were seriously injured. I was not wearing my seat belt (I know, I know...I have gotten many lectures and have learned my lesson) so I ended up with a concussion, a sprained neck, a broken thumb and index finger and a badly bruised knee. Nothing too serious, it could have been a lot worse, but I was blessed that my airbag deployed and protected me somewhat. Anyways, I wanted this post to be about my wonderful husband that I am so grateful for. He is my angel. The second he knew I got hurt he was right by my side the entire time, he never left me. He was so concerned about me and wanted me to be out of pain. These past couple of days since the accident Rey has had to do everything around here. Not once has he complained about anything. He's been changing all the diapers, taking care of all my needs, doing all of the bathing, taking care of all the insurance stuff, cleaning, playing with the kids, and remaining calm the entire time. Poor guy, these are supposed to be his days off and all they have been is nothing but work. I could have never asked for anyone better. Rey is my rock, and he is a wonderful husband and father. I don't know what I would do without him. Thanks baby for being my Superman, I love you!!

What a sweet guy!!! I'm so glad to hear you guys are okay(I didn't even know)! Our prayers are with you...if you guys need ANYTHING please let us know! I'm just so happy you're both okay.
I hate that story of you getting into a wreck. i am glad that you are okay and kati told me that your mom already laid into you about the seat belt thing. we hope that you recover quickly and i am glad that rey is such a good husband.

That is such a blessing! He is a pretty neat guy! That is so scary what happend to you guys, you never think it will happen and then it does! I am glad you are good considering!!!
He really is a sweetheart, and was really worried about you. It was really cute. I'm really glad you are okay! You had me scared for a minute there! :) I'm so glad you love him so much and that he has been such a big help to you.

Dang Melanie....I yell at my kids everyday to put their seatbelts on!!! LoL!!! Glad to hear you are OK. Isnt it the best when you have a husband who can take over and NOT complain!!! I'm suprised you can type with all your broken fingers??!! Hope you get all better soon!!

Wow - I'm glad you guys are okay. SCARY! In response to your message I got my train table at Costco 2 yrs ago Christmas time - GREAT deal and he has LOVED it...but you'll have to wait til next Christmas cuz they only have them around the holidays. They do have some nice good ones at Toys R Us if you got a good coupon could probably get a good deal. We paid $130 but it came with tons of train pieces too and the drawers are really nice for storage. If you are looking for one now though I think Toys R Us (with a coupon of course) is your best bet.
I'm so sorry to hear about your accident--how scary! I hope you're on the road to a speedy recovery! What a great husband you have! :-)
