It's been 6 Weeks

Well I cant believe it... we have made it through 6 weeks with 3 kids. Emree is now 6 weeks old and is just getting sweeter everyday. Although she is colicky and hardly ever sleeps, we think she is just the cutest little girl in the world. I still cant believe how much Rey is in love with her. He even thinks its cute when she cries (even if it is for hours at a time). It has been a crazy six weeks with Rey trying to finish up this last bit of school before graduation, no sleeping for either of us, a baby that constantly cries, sick children and doing all the regular duties that come with having a 4 and 2 year old. Although its been hectic and emotionally and physically draining, I wouldn't change it for the world. I love our little family and throughout these past 6 weeks Rey and I have been able to learn even more how to work together and put ourselves aside in order to make our family function. It truly has made us grow closer to one another and realize that no matter what you have going on, that if you put the Lord and your family first everything else will fall into place.

Puke, Puke and more Puke!!

Wow this past week has been heck to say the least. Gavin started throwing up out of no where on Tuesday night and I mean he was throwing everything up. He first puked all over in Braxtons room, then he decided to come lay by me on the sofa then he threw up all over me and the couch. So after that I held him for a while and he fell asleep in my arms so we thought it was safe to put him in bed...wrong.... he then threw up all in his bed. After an hour of cleaning up throw up everywhere, I then had Emree screaming with a bad tummy ache and was doing everything I knew how to get her too go to sleep. By 1 am we finally were able to hit the hay. Just to be woken up exactly one hour later so Emree could eat. Lets just say we didn't sleep at all that night. Two days later, Braxton I guess was feeling left out and started throwing up like crazy. He threw up 6 times in the middle of the night, so Rey and I were taking turns comforting him and feeding Emree. Rey has had to miss so much school and put off doing homework so we could just catch up on some very much needed sleep, that he has gotten way behind. SO STRESSFUL. Like I wasn't having a hard enough time adjusting to having three kids, then this all happens. I seriously feel like I will never sleep like a normal person again. The good news is, whatever they had didn't last long just about two days, and Rey, me, or Emree didn't catch it so we are very happy about that. Well hopefully this next week will go by a lot more smoothly and my children will all stay healthy and sleep through the night. Gotta think positive.

Mother's Day

Here are some pictures from Mother's Day. It was an awesome day!!!! It started with Braxton and Gavin bringing me my Mother's Day gifts to me in bed (from them and Rey) followed by Rey cooking me a yummy breakfast, and then the best part....I got to go back to bed for a couple more hours!!!! I have just been so exhausted since having Emree. She seriously has been only sleeping for about an hour and a half at a time during the nights, maybe two if I'm lucky. So going back to bed while Rey did the boys was extremely nice. So later on that day we went to my parents house for dinner. I was excited to see all of my family, since no one on my side of the family had seen Emree yet, besides my parents. We had tons of fun there, and Rey and I got a break from the kids. Braxton and Gavin played with cousins all day, while Emree was constantly being passed around. I think it was the best Mother's Day I've had!!

Finally one with her eyes open.

Oh sure, she sleeps during the day...just not at night.

So tired from everybody holding her.

Giddy-Up Horsey

Alright so we have had this horse for over a year now, actually I think its been closer to 2 years, but anyways and Gavin just recently decided that he loves riding it. We originally bought it for Braxton and I think he might have played on it like 5 times and then got bored with it. Gavin is very sweet to the horsey, I have caught him giving it kisses and talking to it when nobody was looking. Ahhh what a nice boy!.
