Braxton's First Day of Kindergarten

Well Braxton started his first day as a Kindergartner. He was SO excited and has been looking forward to this day all of Summer. When we got there he was so happy to see that there were 4 other kids from our ward that were in his class, so that made the adjustment to going to school every day a little easier. He did very well and didn't even cry at all, in fact he kept asking when it would be time for me to leave. This made me a little sad, I guess he was just really ready. That day when I picked him up from school, he wanted to come home and do ALL of his homework that he had for the week. Then he said to me kinda softly "Mom I started to cry a little bit....not when you dropped me off, but when school was almost time to get out. I really missed you." Oh man, I thought I did good without crying when I dropped him off, but I couldn't hold back the tears after he said that. I missed my little guy too! He also told me that he was VERY tired and was ready to go to bed. Now if any of you know Braxton this is VERY out of the ordinary. He rarely admits when he's tired. So that night when it was time for bed, I was tucking him in and saying prayers and he asked me if when we said prayers that we can ask Heavenly Father to make it so he wont miss me and not to cry tomorrow when he goes to school. AGAIN, I couldnt hold back the tears. He is such a sweet boy and I love the faith he has in our Heavenly Father, he KNOWS that if he asks for help he will get it. I love this cute boy and I'm still having a hard time believing that my B-Man is in school.

Spikey or Horny

So today we were (me and the kids) driving to the gym, and the road that we take to the gym has a this house that owns this HUGE bull, that is always near the road. The kids always love to see this huge bull that has big white horns (I guess thats what you call them) and they always make me slow down so they can wave to it. Ok so today I told the kids..."hey lets give our bull friend a name" and Gavin yells out "how bout Spikey, cuz he has big spikes that come out of his head"...and then before Gavin could finish Braxton interrupts Gavin and says, "NO, not Spikey, those aren't spikes Gavin those are horns so we have to name him Horny." I could not stop laughing, I tried to convince them that Spikey is a better name, but they wouldn't have it. SO, when we got out of the gym, what was the first thing the boys asked for? Yup, to go see Horny. I don't know, it may not be all that funny to you, but its pretty funny to me when I hear my kids talk about Horny, the bull.

Date Night

I figured that since I always post pics of the kids I would actually post some of Rey and I. We went out on a date on Saturday night. We went for Sushi (which I now have a new love for), shopping, and then went and played around at Dave and Busters. Oh my gosh, seriously it was the most fun we have had out in a long time. Rey and I were playing so many games to try and win a bunch of tickets. I don't know what it is about winning a lot of tickets, but it makes us feel like we had won the jackpot when a ton of tickets start coming out of the machine. Plus we both love picking out prizes for the kids with our tickets. Anyways here are a couple of pics we took of ourselves that night. Oh, at the end of our date pics, I threw in 2 extra pics. One of Emree and the other of Rey and Gavin. I took the pic of Emree because I wanted to remember her crazy hair that she has. I had just taken out her pig tails, so her hair looked pretty crazy. Then Rey and Gav were just laying together watching TV and I thought it was sweet.

7 Years!

(This pic was taken on our Honeymoon in Catalina 7 yrs ago) Although our Anniversary was on July 13th, I still had to get this post up even though its a little late. I just want to take a little time and think about all the reasons why I love my husband. He may not be a perfect man, but he IS perfect for me. We have truly grown throughout these last 7 years, and I love this man more today then I did the day I married, and I thought that on July 13th 2002 I couldnt have loved him more. Happy Anniversary Babe, I love you so much!

Reasons why this man is truly amazing....

1. The way he plays with our children. He will come home from being gone for 14 hours at work and wrestle them and play hide and seek with them. He just adores them.

2. He puts up with my stubborness.

3. He served his mission to the very best of his ability and I love and look up to him for doing that.

3. His testimony is SO strong and he has a love for the Gospel that I admire.

4. I love how he loves to read and learn new things.

5. The way he looks when he is playing sports....oh its seriously so sexy!

6. He takes care fo me physically and emotionally.

7. The little notes he always leaves me in the morning before he goes to work.

8. I love how he LOVES to spend time with our family.

9. He is the hardest worker I have ever known. He is always willing to do anything to make sure our family is taken care of.

10. I love the light that is in his eyes. He is such a happy person.

11. He makes me laugh all the time.

12. He is the least judgemental person I know.

13. He has the cutest butt I have ever seen (sorry I had to put that in there)

14. He spoils me way too much.

15. He brings out the best in me.

16. The way he dances...I just LOVE the way he moves, he may not be the best dancer, but thats exactly what I love about it. He's willing just to let go and have fun.

17. He is constantly telling me how beautiful I am, and I KNOW he means it.

18. I love that he speaks Spanish. Its so attractive to me.

19. He is one of the smartest people I know.

20. His desire to do what is right strengthens me.

21. He's always concerened about me having my free time away from the kids.

22. The way he looks at me from accross a room.

23. I think he has the most cutest feet ever. Now any of you who know Rey and his feet, know that they arent considered to be "nice" looking at all, but I think they really are adorable. AND they never stink...for real :)

24. He tells me all the time that he wants to give me the world.

26. He puts his family first.

27. He loves to cuddle, and I knew that when I got married I needed someone who loved to cuddle. I got HIM!

28. I love how he calls Emree his Princess and me his Queen.

29. He is such a sensitive person. I appreciate and adore this about him.

30. He loves to talk to me....we talk all the time about anything and everything. We will talk in bed for hours together before finally going to sleep.

31. He gets me to try new things, especiaslly new foods.

32. He is my ROCK.

33. I love how he laughs when he laughs really hard.

34. We can have fun doing ANYTHING.

35. His sense of humor.

36. I love, love, love his curly blonde hair, his gorgeous blue eyes, and the little freckles that show under his eyes when he has been out in the sun for a long time.

37. He has always thought so highly of his mom and sisters. He loves them so much and thinks they are VERY special women. I knew this before we got married and I thought that if he thought this way of his Mother and sisters, that he would be an amazing husband.

38. His lips....he has the best lips in the world!

39. He brings me flowers, just because he loves me.

40. He is an amazing listener. He will listen to me no matter what it is I am telling him, and he will be very understanding about it.

41. He makes me want to be a better person.

42. I love the way he smells when we get ready to go somewhere...mmmm, so sexy.

43. I feel safe when Im in his arms.

44. He will watch girly, romantic movies with me.

45. He supports me in anything I want to do.

46. He laughs at my jokes even though they arent funny.

47. He's a trooper when it comes to putting up with my PMS-ing. (poor guy)

48. When Im pregnant he makes me feel so pretty and he will satisfy ANY craving I have at ANY time of day or night.

49. I think its cute that he SO doesnt care what kind of car he drives, as long as its clean, I guess its a good thing since he has been driving the same car he bought since he came home from his mission. I love that 98 Corolla, I hope it lives on forever.

50. His determination blows me away. If he says he is going to accompish something, he wont stop until he does.

Ok, I think you all get the idea how much I love this sweet guy. I seriously could type a million more things about him. This post is for you Rey, and thank you for giving me 7 years of growing, patience, fun, love and commitment. I LOVE YOU BABE!

Our 4th of July

We had a wonderful 4th of July, the only thing that could have made it perfect was if Rey could have been there. He had to work that day. We spent the day with my parents and went swimming at my brother Jeff's house. After that we had a BBQ at my parents and then did some fireworks. It was a very fun and relaxing day!

I'm not gonna say it this time....ok, I am....I'm playing catch up once again. I feel like, no wait, I do say that every time I post something on our blog. Alright here it goes...the first few pics are from when we went to the beach with Rey's family, like a month ago. Unfortunately Rey was working, so it was just me with the kiddos. Then Emree got pink eye. Ugh, that was horrible, I felt so bad for her. It actually got to the point that she couldn't even open her eyes. I have never had a kid get pink eye, so it was kinda freaky for me to get her out of bed one morning to see her with her eyes swollen shut and green and yellow stuff coming out of them. Now moving on....Braxton woke up one morning and he ran into our room saying that he had a loose tooth. I was like WHAT??? No, I do not have a kid old enough to be losing a tooth. Oh, it made me so sad. Sorry, but I'm going to have a total mom moment right now, but I was thinking oh my gosh this was like the very first tooth my first little boy ever had and I thought about how excited I was to see that first tooth come through and now he's loosing it. My little Braxton is just growing up so fast I cant believe he is going to be 6 in a few months. Crazy! So his tooth ended up falling out while he was brushing his teeth. No blood, no drama with pulling it out or anything, and I was really happy for that. I couldn't believe how tiny it was, ah, so cute. Ok on to the next thing. We went today, with my mom, to the Splash Zone once again and I snapped a few pics of the kids there and riding home in the car. They were being so sweet with each other in the car. We had a blast! Last but not least are just a few random pics of the kids and of Rey with his little princess. Emree was being just so adorable with Rey one night, she certainly loves her Daddy. I love these pics because they really show off her personality. She truly is the happiest, attention-loving little girl ever!

Ryan (Rey's bro) buried the kids in the sand and made them each whatever they asked for. Clarke was a spider and Hudsen a mermaid and Gav wanted to be a transformer, but I didn't get the finished shot.
